Trump and Hillary and campaign managers. I am changing my mind.

By the way, I will soon stop posting my posts on Facebook. If you wish to receive my blog posts, you must enter your email address in the subscription field in the upper right hand corner of my blog. http://www.webtalkwithbob.blogspot.com

I have been predicting that Trump would get beat by Hillary. I am starting to change my mind. Britain's exit from the EU sends me a message that a populist position may be popular for Americans too. The UK was unhappy that they were financing "prop ups" of other countries. The price was too high to pay for the English. America has been doing the same thing and it may be that Americans will now refuse to be the "propper upper" for the rest of the world. And that is Trump's platform.

We give billions of dollars to other countries to prop up their failing economies or influence the local policies of a sitting dictator. When John Kerry visits a country, it is to offer money in exchange for something. We need to send Kerry to Flint, Michigan and have him fund a better water supply system. Similarly, years later, it looks like the atomic bomb hit Detroit rather than Hiroshima. In other words, we need to spend the next few years investing in America.

My take, on Trump's campaign manager turmoil, is that the fired campaign managers wanted Trump to change the style that got him the nomination in the first place and he refused. You may not like him, you may not like what he says, but many people do. If Trump picks a solid VP, then Hillary may just have to live off the hundreds of millions of dollars the Clintons have collected for the Clinton foundation.
