If you are under 30, there is a good chance you do not know Rand McNally.
For decades, Rand McNally lived in the glove compartment of most every car in America and certainly every truck had a copy. It was the Road Map for getting from place to place. It was sold in every retail store and every truck stop in the country.
Rand McNally was the name of the company and it was also the name of the founder and CEO. My Dad would not drive to the store without his Rand McNally handy. Check out your GPS app and you will not see the McNally name anywhere. By the way, McNally is a 160 year old company. In 1990 if you even suggested that McNally would be replaced by a digital application, you would have been labeled crazy.
But like so many things, it was replaced. Now who would get in a car to go somewhere without "mapping it" on your smart phone or other GPS device.
This is the year of change. Be prepared.
