The liberals are a shifty lot. You may have noticed how they have subtly changed the arguments
defending Obamacare. On the talk shows, they are currently espousing--"of course, there are implementation problems, but the health care industry was in turmoil. Insurance rates were out of control. Obamacare was the fix, they argue. Obamacare is saving Americans from the big-bad insurance companies." And who will save us from Obamacare?
The shifting arguments in defense of the affordable care act make the waving Kansas wheat fields in a violent wind storm look like they are standing still. I am amazed at the sheer brashness of defending the indefensible with such creative arguments. It is a policy of throw a bunch of arguments at the wall and see what sticks. Meanwhile in my opinion the republican leadership can not hit a softball when it is thrown to them.
Sebelius is on her way out. January is my forecast. Why? Because if she were to resign now it would make Obama look like he fired her and that he blamed the whole problem on her. He does of course. Obama's strategy is to take the high leadership role. He points to the obvious, and derails the Republican's home run swing, when Obama says he takes all the blame. Sebelious' travel through the USA is a way for her to get out of Washington while they try to construct an exit strategy for her.
In January her resignation press release will resemble this--The web site problems are corrected and my work in Washington is now complete. The rest of the ACA implementation is now being done by other departments ( The IRS) and it is time for me to go back to Kansas and run for senator.
Obama acts dumbfounded by the whole situation. The gurgling you hear is the water rising over his head. He will apologize, but do nothing. He will sympathize with the people that had their insurance canceled, but do nothing. And ultimately he will reveal that it was Sebelius that added the language, unbeknownst to Obama, that required insurance companies to cancel policies that did not meet the standards of the Affordable Care Act. One of the rigorous standards was to require insurance companies to provide pregnancy benefits to single men.
Need I say more.
