Where is that buffalo going?

Where the devil is that animal going? And how did he get there?

I ask myself those same questions when I watched the SOTU address. And still do?

I visited the college scoreboard website again today to see if I could navigate my way through the Department of Education's silly interface abyss. I should not have wasted my time.

I typed in University of Kansas to get information on employment for KU graduates. e.g. That is the information Obama promised in his SOTU address.

The scoreboard website read and I quote,"The U.S. Department of Education is working to provide information about the average earnings of former undergraduate students at the University of Kansas who borrowed Federal student loans. In the meantime, ask the University of Kansas to tell you..." Nada. Zero value. No one home. The Scoreboard is a website development expense with tax payer money that exemplifies the problem. There is no walking after the talking-just more talking.

In other words, the College Scoreboard, a grandiose initiative of Obama and the Department of Education is a promise without substance - a sham. A press release without genuine value. Outside of some worthless graphics that a 10 year old might find cute, there is no information on the site that is helpful to evaluating a college.  However, the announcement did make some fascinating talking points for the SOTU address and capture a standing ovation from the democrats.

As the promises unfold, there is no substance under the covers.

I am not surprised.
