Bruce Marks is the Robin Hood of the home mortgage business. He makes sure that the home owner is treated fairly by the rich banks.
Marks is the CEO of the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America. The NACA helps people renegotiate their home loans with banks. But listen to how he does it. The banks and the home owners assemble in a large auditorium. The home owners apply for new loans - on-line - to the banks which are a few feet away, but have access to all the documents required to approve new loans.
He brings the players together to get the job done. An innovative approach to solving the home mortgage problem. The banks can not hide when the home owner and expert assistance are only a few feet away. The concept is scalable and moves from city to city. It works.
People attend these mortgage revival meetings and leave with renegotiated loans. Marks, through his NACA, is doing what the government and the banks could not do for themselves. He is a person making a difference.
Take a look. You may be surprised.
I don't know much about this guy, but I like his style. The story in the link below is classic. I can just see Lowman saying he wants to help followed quickly by him exiting as someone actually does ask for help.
