Why did Hillary lose?

Whether you are a Clinton or a Trump supporter, you must find the current media narratives, which speculate on why Clinton was defeated, amusing.

I know I do.

Today, I read several headlines on the subject. For example - "Women aren't responsible for Hillary Clinton's defeat," or - "Donald Trump's racist supporters found a voice on-line," or - Other headlines claim that Hillary's defeat was caused by Facebook or Reddit. The commentators claim it was all social media's fault. According to an anonymous Clinton donor, Clinton blamed her defeat on the FBI's precipitous renewed email investigation. It was the FBI's fault.

The MSM (main stream media) and Hillary do not attribute, nor even consider, her defeat to policy differences with Trump. Some democrats even threaten that if he does not build the wall, he will regret it. Hilarious.

Trump is smart. For example, he already has indicated he will not change the portion of the ACA that allows children under 26 to be covered by parent's insurance. The MSM will now assert Trump has lied to Americans by daring to keep the parts of the ACA that make sense. Trump is not stupid. He is rough around the edges, but at his center is a rational business person who will set policies that will be net positives. And finally the MSM is  attacking Trump because he is surrounding himself with experienced cabinet appointees who know government operations. In business, we call this practice rational organization development.

Simply put, Hillary lost because Trump received more electoral votes than she did. Trump tapped into an American electorate that the best prognosticators did not prognosticate and the best analysts will analyze for years to come.

I find it all so amusing and inspiring. Sometimes you just need to try something different, such as plain old common sense.

Every day does count and so does every vote. Let's give him a chance.
