The Supreme Court will not take the ACA tax credits away.

A silly dispute for our serious courts.

Opponents of the ACA would like to strip the people of tax credits who signed up for insurance at the federal site. The federal site is the one we spent $500 million developing.  One reading of the ACA is that tax credits are only available to people who signed up through a state sponsored website, which I understand effects approximately 6 million people.  No justice is going to take the tax credits away. They may find  a way to skirt the core issue while protecting the credits until some other legislation can make the whole issue more partisan than it should be.

Republicans should take the lead in simply stating, no matter what website you used to sign up for your health insurance, the tax credits do not go away. You can not win the minds and hearts of U.S. citizens by floating on the edge of interpreting English language and taking tax credits back that you have already given to people that need them to purchase health insurance.

I typically vote republican, but I am in favor of free education and free health care. Of course, I understand it is not free, but paid for by the taxpayer. However, education should not be an opportunity reserved only for the well-to-do  and taking care of our sick is a moral obligation for the rest of us. Accordingly, I believe that if you can make the grades, education should be available to all U.S. citizens regardless of financial capability and if you are sick, U.S. citizens should be able to receive medical treatment regardless of financial capability..

The Supreme Court's decision will be a win for all.
