There are days when you walk out your front door, and the lawn is mowed, your car is washed and
polished, the trees in the yard are trimmed, the driveway is clean, your bills are all paid, you feel healthy, your clothes fit nicely after 3 months of dieting, your back pain is gone, your bills are all paid, your clients are happy, the sun shining, you are about to play 3 sets of tennis and then your catholic training kicks in, and you think of the homeless, the people in poverty and the civil wars in the rest of the world that are out of your control, but well within your circle of guilt.
That is what is meant by the phrase, the other shoe has dropped.
Happiness is embracing the life you have and giving up the life you wish you had.
Right now I am embracing.
