Secret discussions disguise Obama's intentions.

This morning Social Security became part of Obama's "secret private discussions." It is a reversal for Obama with respect to putting social security reductions on the table. However, it is standard procedure for Obama to keep his discussions secret. These meetings are an example of Obama's notion of government "transparency" that Obama pledged to provide. The meetings signify Obama's arrogance and lack of faith in Americans.  I for one would like to know what Obama truly believes? What his principles are?

What is the problem with letting the American people know what transpires in these private discussions. Certainly they are not discussing matters of national security.  It is just social security, programs for the seniors. As a senior, I say open up the meetings to the cameras and let us see what is really happening in these clandestine "Obama private meetings."

A  real leader would show us some transparency. If the republican leadership is as bad as he says it is, then it should be obvious to anyone observing the discussions. But maybe it is not the republican leadership, maybe the real culprit is Obama jockeying for a smooth ride into the next election. Plus, if he is going to cut my senior pay, [a return of  the money I sent to DC over the last 40 years] I would love to watch how he does it. What real leverage does he use on the republicans?

Most Americans are genuinely in the dark because the debt ceiling discussions are cloaked in political buzzwords. Close the tax loopholes. What specific loopholes? The economy will collapse! The last time I heard that phrase, Obama gave billions of dollars to the banks. America will become a third world country! That would be a problem because we would then be obligated to defend ourselves for nothing and send ourselves a trillion dollars to promote democracy. The American people deserve the indisputable facts not  Obama's disputable view of the facts. Open up these secret meetings and let us be our own judge of who is the real culprit. Only the real culprit would keep the doors shut.

We know what Obama really stands for because Obama's notion of government transparency is as opaque as his actions.

We need a new CEO.
