Here are two to watch: liquid metal and gorilla glass. Liquidmetal.com says that it is a new class of alloys that redefines how products can be made. Apple believes it. For more information, go to www.liquidmetal.com. Corning’s website says that Gorilla® Glass is an environmentally friendly thin sheet glass designed specifically to function as a protective cover glass for high-end display devices such as notebook PCs, televisions and mobile phones.
Arguably like many “new” technologies they have been in the research labs for awhile and have been used in a few specialty products.
These technologies are hitting the mainstream and will effect everything from computers, cars, phones, toys and airplanes. Why? Gorilla glass is thin and strong. Liquidmetal is thin and strong. Products like phones computers, flat screen TVs and just about every product you can dream about begs for thinner and stronger materials. The administration should pump billions of dollars into technology applications before these specialty technologies that were developed in America are an export product from China.
Enough said. Research it. Invest in it. I am.

I am blogging on this subject now so we can look back in 5 years on my prediction. My guess is that when we do look back it will be with an iPad-type device that is thinner than a credit card, stronger than titanium, virtually unbreakable and folds up to fit in our pocket.
Enough said. Research it. Invest in it. I am.
