Michelle Obama

I understand that Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama (born January 17, 1964) is the wife of the forty-fourth President of the United States, Barack Obama, and is the first African-American First Lady of the United States. Michelle Robinson was born and grew up on the South Side of Chicago and graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

I do not know Michelle Obama. And as far as I know, I do not know anyone who knows her either. I do know that an education at Princeton and Harvard costs more than $400,000 for tuition room and board-more money than most people earn in a lifetime. A tidy sum for someone out of the "south side of Chicago." A tidy sum for me too. I can not afford that level of education expense for my children. She could. How did she do it? She could be a big help to people like me to simply tell us how she managed to pay her way. Now that she is one of the most powerful women in the United States, according to Forbes, she should share her secret of educational economics with the rest of us.
