What more can we do for the automotive companies? At what point are they on their own? Ever? Washington fails to recognize how many great small business could provide thousands of jobs with the same billions and Billions of dollars that were injected into automotive companies to save jobs that were sacrificed by Washington in the first place. Talk about Ponzi schemes!
If Washington would inject $200 Billion into venture capital for small businesses, we would have 100 Googles, 500 Garmins and a sprinkling of IBMs. What small business or group of small business owners could get $50 Billion from Washington like an automotive company? None! If you do not see the inequity in the Washington programs, and the absolute arrogance of our congressman who are complicit in this scheme, then you need to read Atlas Shrugged again. What can you do? Get engaged!
Cash for clunkers is using my money to put money in the hands of the automotive companies so they can pay excessive bonuses and be rewarded for the 30 years of mistakes, high executive salaries and beyond belief exit severance packages. I did not get mine so I am complaining.
